Thirty+ years ago, pianist Grant Graham founded the Jazz for the People concert series. This free monthly concert series features local and regional jazz musicians.The mandate was to present this sophisticated music in a setting that was accessible and in a manner that demonstrated the many nuances and colours of the genre.

SUNDAY Jazz in market lane

When the pandemic hit in 2020, the London Ontario Jazz Hub partnered with Dundas Place to provide much needed live music in a distanced, outdoor setting. In 2021 the Series involved 20 jazz groups, more than 60 different musicians, and ran from July through September.

The London Jazz Society is a non-profit society based in London, Ontario Canada that promotes jazz music by presenting live concerts, jazz radio programs, and promotional materials covering local, regional, and national jazz related activities. Membership in the London Jazz Society is open to all those who would like support jazz music. Non-members are welcome to attend events.
