History of the Series...
When the pandemic hit in 2020, the London Ontario Jazz Hub partnered with Dundas Place to provide much needed live music in a distanced, outdoor setting in London's downtown. With ever-changing gathering restrictions at the time, the series was cut short after only two shows! In the summer of 2021 the Series was back with Friday evening and Sunday afternoon performances at two street locations. 20 jazz groups, more than 60 different musicians, were involved from July through September.
The Series was back in 2022 with a new home: the Good Foundation Inc. Theatre which opens onto Market Lane! 2023 boasted 16 Sunday performances with more than 75 different musicians involved from June-September. Although 2024 was a shortened season with only 12 concerts, more than 60 musicians took the stage!
In 2025, the London Ontario Jazz Hub (Brian Ball) handed the programming reins to the new London Jazz Association.
